Alex Toksvig has a diverse work experience in the media industry. They started their career at the University of Portsmouth Media Production Team as a Content Editor from November 2016 to February 2017. They then worked as a Director and Lead Editor (Freelance) for the Waterloo 200 Charity on a Battle of Waterloo Documentary from March 2017 to September 2017. In February 2017, they gained work experience as a Runner for Mentorn Media, specifically assisting with The Big Questions BBC Show. From September 2017 to June 2018, they worked as the Head of Post Production at Victory Studios. They also had a brief work experience as a Runner at ENVY Post Production in June 2018. They returned to ENVY Post Production as an Offline Edit Assistant from September 2018 to March 2020, and also worked as a Runner there in August 2018. From March 2020 to August 2020, they worked as a TX Operator at ABS Broadcast. They then joined Fremantle UK as an Edit Assistant from August 2020 to September 2021. Currently, as of September 2021, they are working as a Media Systems Engineer at Timeline Television.
