Piotr Wojtaszczyk

Piotr Wojtaszczyk has a strong background in software and hardware engineering, with experience in embedded systems. Piotr worked as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Timesys Corporation starting in 2020. Prior to that, they were a Senior System Software Engineer at Cummins Allison from 2013 to 2020. At Cummins Allison, they developed drivers and applications for WinCE7 and integrated them with DSP processors. Piotr also led a team in developing an embedded Linux distribution for new products, which involved tasks such as developing Yocto layers, writing Linux drivers, and developing firmware.

Before joining Cummins Allison, Piotr worked as a software and hardware engineer at Kopex Electric Systems S.A. from 2011 to 2013. In this role, they focused on developing a wireless mesh communication protocol based on the 802.15.4 physical layer.

At Fundacja Rozwoju Kardiochirurgii, Piotr served as a software and hardware engineer from 2008 to 2011. Here, they designed a motherboard with peripherals for a CPU board module with ARM and worked on prototype heart assist devices.
