Emily Kate Marroquín García completed their Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú from 2013 to 2020. In 2019 to 2020, they also attended Technische Universität Clausthal where they studied at the Institut für Bergbau.

Additionally, Emily has obtained several certifications. In May 2021, they completed the "Programa de Especialización en SQL Server" from SDC LEARNING. In March 2021, they completed the "Curso Virtual Planeamiento Estratégico de Minado aplicado a Minería Superficial" from Instituto de Ingenieros de Minas del Perú. In September 2020, they completed the "Programa de Especialización en Power Bi" from SDC LEARNING. In August 2018, they obtained the "Diseño de minas subterráneas con Studio 5D Planner" certification from Datamine. Lastly, in March 2018, they completed the AutoCAD certification from IDAT.
