Andrew Smith Pe, Ptoe

Andrew Smith, PE, PTOE has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management roles. Andrew started their career as a Draftsman at English Boiler and Tube in 2004 and later worked as a Transportation Intern at Timmons Group from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, they became a Project Engineer I at Timmons Group before moving on to work as an Engineer at English Boiler & Tube from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Timmons Group as a Senior Project Engineer. In 2014, they also took on the role of a Storm Chaser at WTVR-TV. Their work experience showcases their expertise in engineering and project management within various industries.

Andrew Smith, PE, PTOE completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In January 2015, they became a licensed Professional Engineer through the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. In March 2018, they obtained the Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification from the TRANSPORTATION PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION BOARD INC. Lastly, in February 2019, they completed the Advanced Work Zone Traffic Control Training provided by the Virginia Department of Transportation.
