Joe Zielinski III

Joe Zielinski III has had a comprehensive work experience in various roles and companies. Joe started their career at Virginia Tech, where they served as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant for six semesters, teaching students Python code and computing concepts. Joe also worked as a Facilities Project Intern, implementing a work order system and preventative maintenance schedules.

Later, Joe joined Network Building + Consulting, where they held multiple positions. As a Civil Engineer I, they led the growth of the Fiber Engineering service line in a new market. Joe surveyed, designed, and permitted hundreds of miles of conduit routes and managed site walks with clients. Joe then became an Engineer II, leading the Virginia Fiber Division and managing large engineering projects and clients. Joe was responsible for hiring and training junior team members, performing quality analysis and control, reviewing construction drawings, and collaborating with upper management. Eventually, they became a Project Manager, where they built and managed a team, handled monthly revenue and cost forecasting, developed new business, and mentored new Engineers.

Currently, Joe works at Timmons Group as a Project Engineer III, responsible for managing engineering projects. Joe is also the Dry Utilities Manager, overseeing the management of dry utilities projects. Further information about their roles and responsibilities at this company is not available.
