Leandra Colella P.e.

Leandra Colella, P.E. has a diverse work experience in engineering. Leandra worked at Timmons Group from 2017 to the present as a Project Engineer in the Timmons Economic Development Group. In this role, they used software such as ArcGIS, Civil 3D, Tableau, and Excel for various projects. Leandra'sresponsibilities included floodplain modeling, BMP inspections, MS4 work, drainage improvements, traffic calming efforts/design, road diets, traffic studies for solar development projects, and equitable planning.

Leandra also had internships at Timmons Group in 2016 while attending the University of Virginia. During these internships, they gained experience in tasks such as addressing markups, understanding site layouts, grading exercises, and site visits using Civil 3D.

Prior to that, Leandra worked as an Engineering Technician at Pons & Associates, LLC in 2015. In 2014, they were an Engineering Intern at ISE Engineering, where they worked on a specialized project involving data collection, graphing, analysis, and statistics. Leandra also participated in joint inspections with engineers to examine malfunctioning household appliances and determine failures in the system.

Leandra Colella, P.E. pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia. Leandra attended the university from 2013 to 2017, focusing on their field of study throughout their undergraduate education.
