Matthew Carlson

Matthew Carlson is a dedicated educator with a focus on high school social studies, currently teaching US History and AP US History at Timothy Christian Schools since August 2022. Prior experience includes a student teaching position at CUSD 200, where instruction was provided for 11th grade Economics and 10th grade U.S. history, alongside a role as a teacher aide and summer camp counselor. Matthew's educational background from Wheaton College, culminating in a degree in History Social Science & Secondary Education, is complemented by experiences as a resident assistant, academic mentor, and campus tour guide, all contributing to personal and professional development in educational settings.
