Bayat's career in marketing began in 2008 at Procter & Gamble, where they held various positions, including Brand Manager, Senior Brand Manager, Global Brand Director, and Group Brand Director. In these roles, Bayat worked on major brands like Vidal Sassoon, Wella ProSeries, and Gillette, developing innovative marketing strategies and leading brand relaunches.

Bayat later joined Coty in 2016, serving as the Director of Global Marketing and Director of eCommerce, Digital Marketing, and Personalization. During their time at Coty, Bayat successfully led the renewal of brand fundamentals for Clairol and developed a three-year innovation and product masterplan.

Bayat then joined TiNDLE Foods and Next Gen Foods in 2021, holding roles as the Global Marketing & Digital Director, the Vice President of Marketing Europe, and the Vice President of Global Brand, Creative & Digital.

Borna Bayat has a diverse education history. In 2003, they started their higher education at Copenhagen Business School, where they pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Business. During this program, their focus areas were Strategy and Marketing. Borna completed their studies in 2006.
