Anu Mahajan

Anu Mahajan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Anu is currently working as the President, CEO, and Co-Founder of TinkRworks, Inc., a K-8 STEAM education company that focuses on transforming learners into innovators. At TinkRworks, they lead a team in providing experiential, hands-on projects to students to reinforce and augment their school learnings.

Prior to TinkRworks, Anu worked as the Senior Vice President of Client Services and Operation Initiatives at IKS Health, where they were responsible for growing and maintaining the company's client services organization. Anu oversaw a team that delivered healthcare solutions to over 25 US clients in the ambulatory arena.

Anu also served as the Director of Innovation at Owens Corning, where they supervised a team accountable for advanced-innovation development. Anu led corporate-wide analytics, oversaw portfolio management, performed competitive intelligence, and deployed human-centered design techniques in advanced product-development efforts.

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Advanced Occupational Medicine Specialists, Anu led an 80-person occupational-health medical practice to a successful acquisition by a subsidiary of a $9B parent healthcare company. Anu streamlined operations and improved the practice's financial performance through analytics.

Anu's earlier career includes roles at McKinsey & Company, where they worked as an Engagement Manager and an Associate, leading IT transformation initiatives and strategic planning for various organizations. Anu also worked at PRTM Management Consultants as a Manager and Associate, leading cost-reduction initiatives and portfolio management strategies for non-profit and wireless-communications companies.

Anu started their career as an Applications Engineer and Foundry Engineer at TriQuint Semiconductor, where they played a crucial role in delivering revenue and coordinating semiconductor production and testing activities. Anu later became a Senior Research Scientist, leading the development of a fiber-optic strategy and managing the Optoelectronic Photodetector Project.

Before their work at TriQuint Semiconductor, Anu was a Process Manager at Nanovation Technologies, where they were involved in the development of high-speed fiber-optic components and actively interacted with engineers, business team members, and investors.

Anu Mahajan pursued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from 1988 to 1992. Anu further pursued their studies in the same field and earned a Master's Degree from the same university from 1992 to 1996. Driven by their passion for Electrical Engineering, Anu Mahajan then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1996 to 1999. Additionally, they expanded their skill set by pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 2003 to 2005.
