Anba Srinivasan

Anba Srinivasan began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems. In 2001, they joined Tahoe Networks as a Senior Software Engineer and was later acquired by Nokia in 2003. At Nokia, they held the role of Software and Solution Architect. In 2008, they returned to Cisco as a Technical Leader and oversaw the full software development life cycle (SDLC) for multiple next-generation product lines. Anba designed, developed and resolved issues with system architecture and developed and maintained/troubleshot functional modules. In 2009, they founded Nephos Systems, which was designed and delivered a first-of-its-kind hybrid cloud orchestration platform. Anba recruited, hired and supervised/trained a core team of five in delivering a Cloud Argumentation Solution prototype in less than six months. In 2010, they were hired as the Director of Software and Services at Panzura, a Cloud storage company that solves the storage capacity problem for primary & secondary storage using caching and distributed metadata for global availability and scale. Anba directed world-class teams in developing primary and secondary storage solutions by employing distributed metadata and caching for global scale/availability. In 2016, they founded Tinosys, a data analytics company, providing micro services for hybrid-data and multi-application environments. Anba manages all aspects of business and technical operations for this company.

Anba Srinivasan completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from the University of Madras in 1992. Anba then obtained an MBA and MS in Computer Science from San Jose State University between 2005 and 2008. In 2018, Anba Srinivasan completed a Specialist program in Unleashing Creative Innovation and Building Great Products at Stanford University. Additionally, Anba Srinivasan has obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in 2019, and in Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
