Maksim Kita

Maksim Kita is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in database management systems (DBMS) and software development. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Tinybird since January 2024, Maksim previously held the same position at Yandex and contributed to the development of the ClickHouse DBMS at ClickHouse and Yandex. In addition to industry roles, Maksim has also imparted knowledge as a lecturer at the Higher School of Economics and as a teacher at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. With a Master's degree in Computer Science, Maksim has a strong background in developing reusable components, refactoring legacy codebases, and working on diverse projects across various domains at EPAM Systems. Contributions to the open-source community include involvement with the Apple Swift compiler and developing database labs for academic purposes.
