Alex Pruden

Alex Pruden is a Strategic Advisor at Tioga Capital Partners. Prior to joining Tioga, Alex served as Chief Operating Officer at Aleo from April 2021 to August 2022. Alex has also held the role of Chief Strategy Officer at Aleo from November 2020 to April 2021. Prior to Aleo, Alex worked at Stanford University School of Engineering.

Before joining Stanford, Alex worked as a Deal Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where they evaluated investment opportunities in cryptocurrency and blockchain-related startups, analyzed innovation and trends in cryptocurrency & blockchain technology, and provided operational and strategic advice to portfolio companies.

Prior to Andreessen Horowitz, Alex interned at Coinbase in Corporate Development from June 2018 to September 2018. Before Coinbase, Alex was a Blockchain Research Analyst at GGV Capital from November 2017 to May 2018.

Alex holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which they completed in June 2019.

Alex Pruden has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and is a Tillman Scholar. Alex also has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Arabic from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Alex completed the United States Military Academy Association of Graduates Preparation Program at the New Mexico Military Institute.
