Russell Martin has a diverse work experience in marketing roles. Russell started their career as a Business Development Executive at Adelphi Masterfil in 2008 and worked there until 2011. Russell then joined Westcon Convergence as a Marketing Executive from 2011 to 2012. Following that, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Cavendish Communications Ltd for a brief period in 2012-2013.

In 2013, Russell became a Marketing Manager at PSI-Pay Ltd where they developed end-to-end payment solutions and worked on branded programmes to facilitate customer payments and improve brand awareness. Russell continued their marketing journey as a Marketing Manager at Capita from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they managed the marketing requirements for a trial program and successfully generated additional revenue through effective communication strategies.

From 2016 to 2021, Russell held multiple roles at Avalara. Firstly, as a Marketing Manager, they focused on driving lead generation and established a strong strategy for regional growth. Later, as a Senior Marketing Manager, they expanded their responsibilities to include the launch of new products and the development of a partner marketing GTM plan.

In 2021, Russell joined Linnworks as a Partner Marketing Manager. Here, they devised partner marketing strategies and collaborated with agency, marketplace, and tech partners to generate revenue through joint go-to-market campaigns. Lastly, they are currently working at Tipalti as a Senior Marketing Manager, responsible for developing and executing marketing programs, ensuring alignment with global marketing and regional sales teams, tracking KPIs, and managing the EMEA marketing budget.

Russell Martin attended the University of Brighton from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in Business Studies.
