Melissa van Gelderen has a diverse work history spanning several companies. Melissa began their career at Simplot Australia in 2001, starting as an Assistant Divisional Accountant before becoming a Divisional Accountant from 2004-2008. In this role, they were responsible for a range of accounting duties including financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
From 2008-2010, Melissa worked at IIOC B.V as the Head of Reporting and Analysis. Melissa then moved on to TMF Group in 2011, where they served as the Financial Controller for Structured Financial Services until September of that year.
In 2011, Melissa joined TIP Trailer Services, initially as a Senior FP&A Analyst. From 2013-2016, they held the position of FP&A and External Reporting Manager before being promoted to Strategic Finance Director in July 2016.
Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic finance. Melissa has consistently taken on roles of increasing responsibility and has a strong background in accounting and finance.
Melissa van Gelderen completed an open programme in Essentials of Leadership at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Masters degree in Accounting at Monash University, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Their education history also includes a Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Accounting and Vietnamese from Swinburne University of Technology, where they attended from 1994 to 1997.
