Rogier Laan has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rogier began their career at GE Capital in 1989, starting as a Sales Executive and eventually progressing to Director International & Strategic Accounts. In 2002, they became the Regional Managing Director and later took on the role of Regional Managing Director Key Lease. Rogier also served as the Sales Director for TIP Trailer Services in the Netherlands and as an Area Sales Manager and European Strategic Account Manager for TIP. In 2009, they joined TIP Trailer Services as the Commercial Leader for Europe and later became the Vice President for Benelux. In 2021, Rogier assumed the role of Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at TIP Trailer Services. Additionally, they served as Chairman of the European Transport Board, where they played a crucial role in driving innovation and sustainability in the transportation industry. Rogier is also the Chairman of TRTA, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to their career in finance and transportation, they worked as an Accountant at GE Capital and a Financial Controller at Citibank. Overall, Rogier Laan's work experience showcases their expertise in leadership, sales, and finance across various organizations.
Rogier Laan's education history includes various qualifications and certifications. Rogier attended ISBW Opleiding & Training from 1990 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Marketing, specifically Nima A. Before that, from 1988 to 1990, they studied at Markus Verbeek Praehep, focusing on SPD. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1988, they also attended Markus Verbeek Praehep, specializing in Modern Business Administration. Continuing further back, from 1986 to 1987, they studied at Markus Verbeek Praehep, focusing on PDB. Rogier Laan completed their secondary education, HAVO, at Hermann Wesselink College, between 1979 and 1985.
In addition to their educational background, Rogier Laan obtained a certification as a Digital Social Seller from Tricycle Europe in November 2022.
