Mateo Yerovi

Mateo Yerovi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mateo is currently working at Tipti S.A. as the Head of Data Science, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Data Analyst at the same company from August 2021 to January 2022. Before joining Tipti S.A., Mateo worked as a Strategic Business Operations Analyst at the company from September 2020 to August 2021.

In addition to their work at Tipti S.A., Mateo was involved with Rethinking Economics, where they held multiple positions. Mateo was a Funding Member of the Quito Chapter (IDEAS) from September 2017, and also served as the Co-Director of the Quito Chapter (IDEAS) from September 2017 to August 2021.

Prior to these roles, Mateo worked as an Assistant Professor at Universidad San Francisco de Quito from August 2019 to September 2020. Here, they focused on using general equilibrium computational models and studying the "Real Business Cycle" model for emerging countries.

Mateo also has experience as an intern, having worked at Fluid Blockchain Accelerator from June 2018 to February 2019, and at Arconel from June 2015 to August 2015.

Mateo Yerovi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in 2019. In 2018, they also attended Jönköping International Business School for a period of time in the field of Economics.
