Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of PINTU (Pangan Indonesia Network Utama) starting in 2020. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Business Builder at Something Exciting. Faizal also served as the Head of Talent Acquisition at Tiket.com (PT. Global Tiket Network) from 2019 to 2021. Faizal has experience in talent acquisition and employer branding as the Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Manager at Grab from 2017 to 2019. Before that, they worked at JAC Recruitment as the Head of Tech Recruiter from 2012 to 2017, and as an IT Officer and Researcher from 2011 to 2012. Faizal also had earlier roles as a Production Assistant and Creative Person at PT. Trans TV from 2010 to 2011, and as a Music Director at Heartbeat Station from 2008 to 2010.

Faizal D. started their education at STMIK Akakom Yogyakarta in 2003 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 2008. Faizal then pursued further education at Gajah Mada University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science with a field of study in Information Technology.
