John Rule CPM has extensive work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity. John started their career as a Physics Teacher at Cincinnati Public Schools in 1996 and later moved on to Amelia High School. In 2001, they joined VSSP LLP as an IT Administrator, where they handled day-to-day IT operations for a remote office and provided desktop support for over 100 attorneys and staff. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at C-forward as a Network Technician and Lead Technical Trainer, where they provided server and desktop support, network infrastructure maintenance, and disaster recovery solutions.

In 2014, John joined Kingsgate Logistics, LLC as a Business Systems Manager, overseeing infrastructure management, systems management, network architecture, vendor management, project management, data analysis, coding, process improvements, and logistics support. John also took on the role of Network Administrator/IT Operations/Cybersecurity Analyst, responsible for hardware, software, phone systems, networking, third party vendor management, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, IT disaster recovery scenarios, cyber security incident response plans, and company-wide IT spending.

Currently, John is working at Tire Discounters, Inc. as the Director of IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security. Their responsibilities in this role include providing strategic direction for the company's technical infrastructure and cybersecurity, team leadership, mentorship, operational leadership, project management, and information security. John also previously served as a Systems Engineer at the same company, overseeing IT software and hardware, ensuring system performance, security, and patching, and working on projects with the IT director and other team members.

John Rule CPM has a diverse education history. In 1991, they began their undergraduate studies at Kenyon College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in History and a minor in Physics. John completed their undergraduate education in 1995.

Following their undergraduate studies, John enrolled at the University of Cincinnati in 1995 and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching in 1997.

In 2015, John pursued a Six Sigma Green Belt certification at Xavier University, indicating their interest in process improvement. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 from The Virtual Training Company Inc (vtc.com) in May 2015.

In 2017, John completed a Project Management Certificate Program at Xavier University, earning the Certified Project Manager designation. This demonstrates their commitment to enhancing their project management skills.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that John obtained certifications in Leadership Basics from the Talent Magnet Institute® in September 2021.
