Michele Buzzi

Michele Buzzi has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of the Engineering Department at Tirreno Power SpA since June 2001. In this role, Michele oversees projects aimed at improving environmental performance for coal units and manages initiatives for the removal of contaminants from discharge water. Previously, Michele held the position of Vice-director at the Vado Ligure Power Plant, focusing on staffing and operational enhancements, and served as Maintenance Manager there, supervising maintenance operations for coal and gas units, leading overhaul projects, and contributing to national regulations on pressure equipment. Michele's earlier career includes positions at Enel, where responsibilities included maintenance oversight, and roles at Johnson & Johnson and Italcementi Group related to engineering and technical services. Michele earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
