Kate Bicknell

MD, Development at Tishman Speyer

Kate Bicknell joined Tishman Speyer in 2021 to lead the Enterprise Research Campus development in Boston, a mixed-use life science, office, and residential project. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Kate was Vice President and Head of New York Development for Oxford Properties Group. In her role, she was responsible for the development of St. John’s Terminal in NYC. Kate had prior roles at Forest City, where she led the development of Cornell Tech, partnered with Johns Hopkins to attract life sciences companies to the East Baltimore Science + Technology Park, and managed the negotiations with the City, State & MTA for the development of Pacific Park Brooklyn and Barclays Center. She also worked as a Legislative Aide for the late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan and was the Federal Policy Director for Smart Growth America. Kate was a 2017 Rockefeller Fellow and is a member of WX, Chief, and ULI, including the University Development & Innovation Center Council. She holds her BS in Urban Studies from Cornell University, where she is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council and the incoming Vice Chair of the Cornell Alumni Trustee Nominating Committee. Kate also holds her MBA from the Wharton School.
