Michael Perez

Michael Perez has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Michael worked at TissueTech, Inc. from 2017 to the present, holding the roles of Sr. Director, IT Operations and Security, and Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations. During their tenure, they implemented ITIL-based Service Desk, consolidated data centers, established disaster recovery protocols, and addressed regulatory compliance issues. Michael also provided technical leadership and guided the adoption of new technologies.

Prior to that, Michael Perez worked at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. from 2001 to 2017, serving in various positions such as Director of IT Infrastructure, Manager of DBA, AIX, Linux, SAN, and Windows Server Teams, and IT Systems Technician. Michael played a significant role in shaping business strategy and technical direction.

Michael Perez completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Florida International University in 2014. Michael also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university, completing both programs between 2004 and 2007. In addition, Michael Perez holds several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2022, and a variety of certifications in areas such as information technology, virtualization, and data management obtained between 2008 and 2012.
