Michael Smith

Michael Smith has a diverse work experience in project and product management roles. Starting as a Senior Consultant at CGI in 2000 and progressing through various roles in different companies like Navigant, Business Objects, Idea Integration, Verizon, mobi., and NIC Inc., where they held positions from Project Manager to Lead Product Manager. Their responsibilities encompassed managing enterprise products, leading project teams, and engaging with clients to deliver successful projects. Currently, they hold the role of Lead Product Manager at TISTA Science and Technology Corporation, where they lead modernization and innovation efforts aligned with the Department of Veterans Affairs Infrastructure Operations' strategic goals.

Michael Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia in 2000. Michael later pursued a Master of Science in Technology Management from George Mason University - Costello College of Business from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in 2005, SAFe Agilist (SA) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2015, and SAFe PMPO certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2017.
