Sankar Nair

Sankar Nair has a diverse work experience in sourcing and procurement roles. Sankar recently worked as the Head of Sourcing at Titan Company Limited since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Sourcing Head for the Swadesh brand at Reliance Retail from 2017 to 2018. Sankar also served as the Product Category Head for Soft Furnishings at Kurlon Enterprise Limited from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Sankar held positions as the Category Head for Soft Furnishings at Future Group India in 2015 and as the Manager for Category and Product Management at Bombay Dyeing from 2014 to 2015. Their earlier experience includes a role as the Procurement Hub Manager at Fabindia Overseas Pvt Ltd Chennai, where they were responsible for sourcing, procurement, vendor development, operations, and supply chain. Sankar also served as the CEO of Nilgiri Artisans Ltd, where they managed sourcing, procurement, vendor development, operations, and supply chain for products from three south states of India. Overall, Sankar Nair has extensive experience in vendor management, business development, strategic planning, P&L management, account management, client relations, revenue growth, sales management, budget management, and operations.

Sankar Nair completed a Post Diploma in Textile Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Handloom and Textiles in Salem from 2000 to 2001. Later, they pursued a PDHTM (Post Diploma in Home Textile Management) from Sardar Patel University from 2004 to 2005.
