Lauren Peate has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lauren began their career as a Youth Supervisor at the Carlisle Family YMCA in 2004 and later worked as a Sales Floor Associate at Hollister Co. from 2005 to 2008. From 2008 to 2014, they served as a Liquor Sales Representative at Central PA Hospitality Inc. In 2013, they worked as a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator at Impact Arts.

In 2015, Lauren embarked on their own venture, starting Why Travel There, a travel blog and award booking site. As the Owner and Writer, they managed the blog and produced content for various social media platforms. Lauren also utilized web design techniques to drive audience engagement.

Lauren transitioned into the hospitality industry in 2015, working as a Guest Service Representative at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton. Lauren then joined Courtyard by Marriott as a Sales Coordinator in 2016, specializing in group sales and event coordination.

From 2017 to 2018, Lauren worked as a Catering Sales Manager at Radisson Hotel Harrisburg. In 2018, they joined Titan Hotel Group, where they held various roles including Sales Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Harrisburg West. Lauren later became the Corporate Area Sales Manager, responsible for sales leadership across 16 Marriott and Hilton hotels.

Throughout their career, Lauren has demonstrated skills in sales, marketing, customer service, and team management. Lauren'sexperience also includes ballet instruction as a Ballet Mistress at Greater York Dance, where they developed and managed ballet curriculum and directed performances.

Lauren Peate holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Marketing from York College of Pennsylvania. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including R.I.S.E.: One Yield v2 Certification from Marriott International in September 2020, Ahead and Gaining: Your Roadmap to Revenue and Market Share Growth - Hampton from Hilton in November 2019, AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE National Training Curriculum in February 2016, and RAMP certification from the Pa Liquor Control Board in April 2014.
