George Kakavelakis

George Kakavelakis currently serves as Group Head of Finance at Titan Wealth Holdings since April 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Group Financial Controller at Ocean Technologies Group from May 2020 to March 2022, overseeing financial operations for prominent maritime learning businesses. George's tenure at Barloworld Limited from January 2017 to December 2019 as Financial Controller involved UK Group IFRS consolidation across 14 countries. Previously, George held various finance-related positions at Barloworld Equipment in Southern Africa, including Country Finance Manager and Regional Financial Controller, along with experience as Finance Manager at Congo Equipment in a joint venture. George began a finance career at EY from January 2005 to March 2008, completing articles and a post-articles secondment to New York. George holds a B.Acc(Hons)(CTA) degree in Accounting from the University of the Free State.
