Amy Gallegos has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Amy worked at Titus Talent Strategies from 2018, starting as a Manager of Strategic Partnerships and later becoming the Director of Strategic Partnerships in 2021. Amy also served as the Executive Director of Fresno Dance Collective since 2010, where they focused on expanding the culture of dance through performance, education, and outreach.
In addition, Amy served on the Leadership Team and was nominated for Woman of the Year at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in 2020. Amy also worked as a Senior Program Assistant at Fresno County Superintendent of Schools from 2012 to 2018 and held the position of Program Leader for Arts in Corrections at the Prison Arts Project from 2015 to 2018.
Amy has an extensive background in academia, having served as a Professor at State Center Community College District from 2007 to 2017, University of North Texas from 2004 to 2006, Texas Woman's University from 2004 to 2006, and Tyler Junior College from 2003 to 2004. Their work experience showcases their expertise in partnerships, leadership, arts administration, and education.
Amy Gallegos obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance & French from Columbia College (SC) in the years 1997 to 2002. Amy later pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Dance Performance & Choreography at Texas Woman's University from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Amy also obtained a Hire 4 Performance (H4P) Certification from Titus Talent Strategies in October 2018.
