Rob Austin

Rob Austin is currently the VP of Professional Services at Tivian. Prior to joining Tivian, Rob was the Director of Business Intelligence at Questback from July 2016 to February 2022. In this role, Rob was responsible for providing Business Intelligence consultancy to a wide range of successful firms to assist them in gaining insights from their business data and using it to improve the business throughout.

Before Questback, Rob was with InterWorks UK from June 2012 to June 2016 as the Principal Business Intelligence Consultant. In this role, Rob provided Business Intelligence consultancy to a wide range of successful firms to assist them in gaining insights from their business data and using it to improve the business throughout.

Rob has also been with Total Console Repair Limited from June 2005 to May 2012 as the Managing Director. During their time with Total Console Repair Limited, Rob founded the business and grew the operation to £2.6m turnover employing over 70 staff. Rob was responsible for all aspects of the business including securing sales contracts with leading high street brands and insurance companies, reverse engineering electronic equipment for repair and quality control purposes, defining budget and consistently delivering against targets, creating and implementing bespoke software solutions and processes to optimise workflow, quality and cost efficiency, running board meetings and managing shareholder communications.

Prior to Total Console Repair Limited, Rob was with RJ Engineering from February 2003 to June 2005 as a Partner.

Rob Austin studied electrical engineering at the University of Southampton and Oxted County School. Rob is a Tableau Desktop 9 Certified Professional and a Tableau Desktop 9 Qualified Associate.
