Truemenda Green has worked in the public health sector for the past two years. In 2020, they were a Public Health Advisor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2021, they became a Sr. Public Health Advisor/HHS Region 4 at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Currently, they are a Project Manager Officer (PMO)-Government Contractor at TJFACT LLC - Totally Joined for Achieving Collaborative Techniques.

Truemenda Green's education history includes a Master's of Arts in Legal, Ethical and Policy Studies with a Minor in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore, which was completed between 1996 and 1998. Truemenda then attended Morgan State University between 1989 and 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. In 1995-1996, they attended Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs for a Certificate of Public Health, but did not complete the program. Finally, they are currently enrolled in Walden University for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Policy/Public Administration, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
