Jemma Shanks

Jemma Shanks is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in financial services disputes and investigations. Currently holding the position of Managing Associate at TLT LLP since November 2012, Jemma has also served as a Senior Associate and Solicitor within the firm. Notably, Jemma completed a secondment as an Associate in the Financial Conduct Authority's Retail Enforcement Team in early 2020. Previous roles include serving as a Relationship Manager in the Royal Bank of Scotland's Active Insolvency Team and providing legal support to the Global Restructuring Group at the same institution. Jemma’s career began as a Trainee Solicitor at Rosling King LLP, following a legal secondment at UKAR, formerly Northern Rock Plc. Jemma holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of York and completed high school at Watford Grammar School for Girls.
