Shatu M.D. Shafiuddin

Shatu Md Shafiuddin is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing and structural engineering sectors. Currently serving as Associate Director at TMAC since August 2023, Shatu provides consultancy to enhance operational excellence and competitiveness in the local and regional manufacturing industries. Prior to this role, Shatu was a Project Engineer at Meridian Biotech LLC from March 2019 to August 2023, managing pilot projects and workforce training across multiple countries. Previous experience includes a significant tenure at Lamar University as a Research Engineer and Research Assistant, focusing on water disinfection and hazardous wastewater treatment. Early in the career, Shatu held positions as a Structural Engineer at both Banglalink and PDCL, specializing in project management, foundation design, and construction oversight. Shatu holds a Master’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology.
