Daeyeon Park

Dr. Daeyeon Park started TmaxSoft more than 20 years ago with a single, transaction processing monitor called Tmax and a vision for advancing his country’s IT industry. From this modest origin, he built the largest software developer in Korea offering a wide range of enterprise software from a robust database application to a mainframe rehosting solution. Today, TmaxSoft has more than 1,000 employees in 20 countries around the world and the company is continuing its legacy of innovation. Dr. Park received his Bachelor and Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Oregon, in Eugene. He was awarded his Doctorate of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. In addition, Dr. Park was a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Seoul, which is widely considered the MIT of Korea.
