Barbara Morrison

Barbara Morrison is a seasoned entrepreneur and community leader with extensive experience in microfinance and public service. As the Founder and President of TMC Financing since 1981, Barbara has played a pivotal role in providing financial solutions across the United States. In 2019, Barbara established TMC Community Capital, a nonprofit online microlender focused on supporting underserved business owners, particularly women. Previously, Barbara founded Working Solutions Microloans, an innovative nonprofit that assists entrepreneurs in accessing capital and technical support. Additionally, Barbara served on the City Council and as Mayor of Belvedere, complemented by a background as Deputy Director in the Mayor's Office of Economic Development. Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from the University of Vermont.
