Julie Ward

About

As vice president, Operations, Julie Ward, R.N., oversees daily operations of the hospital and related organizational entities including Tucson Medical Center and Outpatient Services. This oversight also includes Facilities, Security and Transportation, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Dietary and Imaging Services.

Ward has been with TMC since 2006 with roles in the TMC CardioVascular Center, Critical Care and Perioperative Services, and as Quality and Patient Safety Officer.

Ward has a proven track record in quality assurance and leading complex, multidisciplinary teams focused on improving processes to support TMC’s operational, clinical and strategic goals and objectives.

In addition to her work at TMC, Ward has held nursing positions with University Medical Center - Kino Campus, El Dorado Hospital and Scottsdale Healthcare with experience in trauma/emergency, pediatric intensive care, adult cardiac and step-down units, general surgery, and special procedures.
