Victoria Shearer-van Hal LLM CCP is an experienced compliance professional currently serving as the Head of Compliance at TMF Netherlands since May 2023. Previously, Victoria held the role of Senior Compliance Officer at CACEIS from August 2020 to April 2023, where responsibilities included advising, training, monitoring, and handling compliance-related tasks. Prior to that, at Intertrust Group, Victoria served as a Senior Compliance Officer and Senior Company Lawyer, overseeing compliance training, drafting policies, and managing a team of lawyers. Victoria's earlier experience includes a role in Compliance Risk Management at ING Nederland and as a Junior Legal Counsel at the Netherlands Competition Authority. Educational qualifications include certifications in compliance and law from various institutions, with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Utrecht University and a Master's degree in Counter Terrorism/Transnational Organized Crime from the University of East London.
