Mike Melo

Mike Melo currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at TMX Group since July 2025. Prior to this role, Mike held significant positions including Vice President of Technology Shared Services and CISO at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services, where responsibilities included managing IT operations and leading a $50M cybersecurity transformation program. Previous experience encompasses roles such as Managing Partner of Advisory Services at Vipereon and Information Security Officer at DV Trading LLC, where Mike successfully managed a cybersecurity budget and navigated organization-wide breaches. Additionally, Mike has academic qualifications including an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Guitar Performance from Berklee College of Music.
