Sadia Zafar

Sadia Zafar has extensive experience in program management and service coordination, currently serving as the Manager of Language and Skills Development Programs at TNO - The Neighbourhood Organization since November 2018, after previously holding the role of Program Coordinator at the same organization from October 2012 to October 2018. Sadia is a member of the management team responsible for planning and supervising Employment Services and Language Training Programs, managing budgets exceeding $2 million and overseeing a team of over 25 staff members. Prior experience includes roles as an Intake and Settlement Worker with the Toronto District School Board and as a Settlement Worker at Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Office, where Sadia provided direct settlement services and contributed to developing anti-oppression frameworks. Sadia holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, and is currently pursuing a Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Management Certificate at Toronto Metropolitan University.
