Arnold Tukker is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in Industrial Ecology and sustainability. Since October 2013, Arnold has served as a Distinguished University Professor at the Institute of Environmental Sciences, Leiden University (CML), where a significant portion of time is dedicated to teaching and research. Arnold has held the position of Chair of the Board at the LDE Centre for Sustainability since April 2014, contributing to collaborative research among leading Dutch universities on resource efficiency and the circular economy. Arnold has been with TNO since 2005, currently in a Senior Scientist/Program Manager role focused on Sustainable Innovation, while retaining a 20% position there since transitioning to CML. Arnold's experience also includes a recent appointment as a Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Study in Paris and a part-time professorship in Sustainable Innovation at NTNU in Norway from 2010 to 2014. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Policy Sciences from Tilburg University and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Utrecht University.
