Barry Nouwt

Barry Nouwt is an experienced innovator and researcher specializing in semantic technology, currently contributing to TNO as a Medior Innovator in the connected business group since October 2015. Nouwt's focus lies in advancing technologies for semantic interoperability to enhance the formal interpretation of shared information across organizations. Prior to TNO, Nouwt worked at SemLab from August 2010 to September 2015 as a Researcher in Knowledge Management and Technology, where responsibilities included autonomous research and the development of advanced knowledge management systems. Earlier roles include software engineering positions at c)solutions, where web applications were developed, and a trainee position at the Knowledge Centre at Saxion Hogeschool Enschede, which involved creating software for the Sony AIBO robot. Nouwt's career began with Mecon Group BV as a Software Specialist. Nouwt holds a Master's degree in Cognitive Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
