Ellen Wilschut

Research Scientist/project Lead: Inclusive Technology And Smart Industry at TNO

Ellen Wilschut is a seasoned research scientist and project leader with a focus on human-centered technology and human factors across multiple domains. Currently at TNO since May 2018, Ellen leads projects on inclusive technology, emphasizing human-machine interaction, augmented reality, and co-bots. Previously, from April 2008 to March 2018, Ellen contributed to the field of human factors in automotive, aviation, and defense, addressing technology-related challenges through various innovative projects. Ellen's academic background includes a PhD in Ergonomics from IfADo, where research involved intelligent transportation systems and traffic safety, complemented by a degree in Cognitive Psychology and Ergonomics from the University of Groningen. Further education includes studies at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and a VWO from Stedelijk Gymnasium te Nijmegen.
