Marieke Verheijden

Marieke Verheijden has extensive experience in various leadership and operational roles at TNO since June 2004, including Program Manager for company-wide initiatives and Director of Operations for multiple research units, overseeing hundreds of colleagues and focusing on areas such as energy transition, defense, and safety. Verheijden has also contributed to the non-profit sector as a board member at Dress for Success Amsterdam and served as a mentor in a cross-company program. Academic credentials include a PhD in Public Health Education and Promotion from Wageningen University and participation in the Senior Leadership Development Program at Nyenrode Business University. Earlier research experience includes a PhD project at Wageningen University and involvement in studies during a Master's program at the University of Western Australia.
