Willem Datema

Willem Datema is a Medior Scientist Integrator at TNO since June 2022, specializing in the technical aspects of Data Spaces and data sharing architectures, with a focus on creating and implementing data sharing infrastructures for initiatives like International Data Spaces and Gaia-X. Prior to this role, Willem worked as a Scientist Innovator and Python Developer at Bencom Group from September 2020 to May 2022, contributing to the backend development of the Bencompare app by adding new functionalities and optimizing performance. Willem also gained valuable experience as a Developer at Piercing Mania, where responsibilities included developing a dashboard using Django to display sales data and inventory. Academically, Willem holds a Master's degree in Information Science and a Bachelor of Science in Informatiekunde from the University of Groningen, complemented by earlier education at Graafschapcollege VAVO VWO and Ulenhofcollege, where a HAVO diploma in Economie en Maatschappij was obtained.
