Alexandra Plante

Alexandra Plante is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in teaching and educational leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at TNTP since October 2021, Alexandra previously held the position of 4th Grade Lead Reading Teacher at KIPP Texas Public Schools in Houston from August 2018 to June 2021, where leadership in curriculum design and data analysis led to significant improvements in student performance. Alexandra also worked as an Upper Elementary PLC Leader and 4th Grade Lead Reading Teacher at Houston ISD from August 2015 to July 2018, successfully implementing a novel-based reading curriculum. With a background as a corps member for Teach For America, Alexandra also contributed to improving school operations and efficiency. Alexandra holds a Master of Education from Johns Hopkins University School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
