Tracey Wilson-Crawford, PhD, has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Tracey started their career as a Mathematics Educator in Houston ISD from 2001 to 2003. Tracey then joined Memphis City Schools, where they served as a Mathematics Educator, Lead, and Coordinator from 2003 to 2009. During this time, they developed schoolwide math assessments and supported the team in addressing learning gaps. Tracey achieved a 92% proficiency rate for students on the state test in 2006.

Tracey obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education from Jackson State University, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration at Texas Southern University, from 2001 to 2003. Tracey furthered their education at The University of Memphis, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Research from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained a second Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from The University of Memphis in Educational Evaluation and Research, although the specific years are not provided.

Regarding certifications, Tracey Wilson-Crawford holds a Professional License-Elementary K-8 from the Tennessee Department of Education, obtained in 2004.
