Xiaosong Mu

XiaoSong Mu is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for both Consumer and New Ventures at Toast since March 2021, XiaoSong co-founded and scaled the company's first New Ventures team, focusing on innovative solutions in the consumer digital dining sector. Prior to this role, XiaoSong was a co-founder and Engineering Manager for New Ventures at Google, where notable achievements included launching the Google Pay app in the US market and overseeing Medical Speech APIs on Google Cloud. XiaoSong also co-founded Call9, a company dedicated to enhancing healthcare delivery for nursing home patients, and held engineering internships at CollectiveHealth, Inc. and Practice Fusion. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Biomedical Computation from Stanford University and coursework toward an MD at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
