Julia also founded Small Shift, a social enterprise focusing on strategic placemaking. With a background in architecture and urbanism, Julia has also worked as an Urban Strategist at Urban Toolbox and a Placemaker at Place Partners. Julia holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and continues to expand their knowledge through various educational programs.
