Dan Sweeney

Dan Sweeney currently serves as the Director of Software at Tobii Dynavox, a position held since May 2022. Prior experience includes being the Sr. Manager of Platform & Services at Smith & Nephew, where Dan led the development of the company’s first cloud offering and implemented innovative engineering practices. As VP of Engineering at Lucas Systems, Dan expanded the software engineering team significantly while improving retention rates. At Neuro-Kinetics, Inc., Dan oversaw a multi-disciplinary engineering team and facilitated software development for eye tracking tests. Dan's career initiated at DynaVox Technologies, where Dan played key roles in engineering leadership and software development. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Yale University.
