Cosmin Ţoca

Cosmin Ţoca is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in machine learning, computer vision, and infrastructure development. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Tobii since February 2024, Cosmin oversees the creation of data acquisition infrastructure and cognitive features for the automotive industry. Prior experience at Xperi Inc. from July 2012 to February 2024 includes various leadership roles, managing deep learning projects and teams, as well as developing CNN-based applications. Additionally, significant contributions were made as Project Founder and Technical Lead at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, alongside research roles at Heidelberg University. Cosmin holds a PhD in Markov Random Fields modeling from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and multiple degrees in computer science and applied mathematics.
