Oana Parvan

Oana Parvan is a seasoned professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Tobii since July 2025. Prior to this role, Oana worked at Xperi Corporation from October 2014 to June 2025, initially as an R&D Computer Vision Engineer and advancing to Senior R&D Computer Vision Engineer, where responsibilities included developing computer vision algorithms and tools for mobile devices. Earlier experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at TELECOM SudParis in 2014, focused on medical 3D image processing. Oana holds a Master's degree in Mathematics, Image Processing, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science. Educational background also includes a Baccalaureate in Mathematics and Computer Science.
