Ylva Garvare

Ylva Garvare has over 26 years of work experience in accounting and finance. Ylva is currently the Head of Accounting at Tobii since 2022. Previously, they held the position of Head of Accounting at Caverion Sverige AB from 2015 to 2022. Their responsibilities included leadership of accounting, receivables, payables, internal and external reporting, taxes, and cash management. Ylva also established a shared service function and implemented a cash flow forecast tool. Before that, Ylva worked as a Finance Manager at Caverion from 2011 to 2015, leading the finance, accounts receivable, and accounts payable teams. During their time at YIT from 2003 to 2011, they served as an Accounting Manager, overseeing the finance and accounting team and managing the transition from ABB to YIT. Ylva also worked at ABB as an Accounting Manager from 2000 to 2004, where they led the accounting and finance team and was involved in M&A activities. Ylva started their career at ABB Support in 1996, holding various positions in accounting and finance.

Ylva Garvare completed their Master of Business Administration specializing in International Business and Economics from Umeå University, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. In 1994, they also attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst to complete courses in the MBA program, focusing on International Finance, Organization, and Marketing.
