Christopher Novosad is the current Vice President of Marketing at Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Christopher has over 10 years of experience working in public relations and marketing, including positions at Pura Vida Tequila Company LLC and Houston Grand Opera.
Novosad began their career working as a Public Relations Director for Houston Grand Opera. In this role, they were responsible for pitch stories to local, regional, national and international publications, as well as event organization and execution. Christopher also worked with artist agents and publicists to ensure maximum coverage for their clients.
In 2011, Novosad left Houston Grand Opera to become the Chief Marketing Officer for Pura Vida Tequila Company LLC. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of public relations, media relations and marketing for the start-up liquor company.
Novosad has been with Tobin Center for the Performing Arts since 2013, first as the Director of Marketing and now as the Vice President of Marketing. In their current role, they oversee all marketing initiatives for the organization, including advertising, promotions, ticket sales, and community outreach.
Christopher Novosad has a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin and an Advanced diploma from Lamar Consolidated High School.
They are on a team with Hector Gutierrez - Technical Director, Jeff LaSante - VP & CFO, and Jack Freeman - VP of Facilities & Operations. Christopher Novosad reports to Michael Fresher, President & CEO.
